Shootout Recap

ShotClub Pro Highlights:

Orange- 77  Black- 75

-Ron Gibson shot 49.4 % FG with a 64.4 shooter rating. Gibson averages 41% FG during 2023 Fall Shooting Season. Gibson was clutch all night, hitting (10) Gamer Winners to lead all shooters and going 8 for 12 in the Bonus Round, including the buzzer beater winning shot.

-Reggie Selden led all shooters with (102) total makes and (14) Money Ball makes. Selden maintains rank at the ‘Locked In’ shooter level.

-Jose Castro made his 2023 Fall Shooting Season debut at ’Will to Win’ shooting level after shooting 52.0% FG  with a 79.5 shooter rating.

-Another great shootout on Wednesday night at the JCC. Team Black came out strong and controlled most of the game. Team Orange was able to keep it close before the Bonus Round. Team Black went into the Bonus Round with a 4 point lead. Team Orange had (21) total makes in the Bonus Round compared to Team Black with(18).

The Shooter Rating is a unique statistic to ShotClub, indicating a shooter’s overall performance in a shootout. Shooter Rating is calculated by adding: the shooter’s field goal percentage, 5 points for a win, 1 point per Bonus Round Make, 2 points per Money-ball Make, 3 points per Game Changer Make, 1/2 a point per Game Winner, and 0/2/4/6 points for playing in an outside shootout (point addition varies per weather/wind conditions).
